Most heaters let you set the thermostat between 5 and 30 degrees. Once the thermostat has been set, the heater will then raise the room to that level. Then it will switch off.  From there, the heater will only come on once temperature drops, to maintain the desired temperature.

To maximise energy efficiency, it’s essential to use the heater’s timer. Not only this but, no one wants to leave the heating on all day. That’s a of money. Programming the timer lets you select exactly when the unit will be on, and when it will be off. Meaning no energy is being wasted.
