Solaire Heating Products is a family-run business based in Eppleby, North Yorkshire, and the sole UK distributor for ADAX AS. We’ve been serving UK customers since 2009, and the UK home of ADAX since 2016, supplying homeowners, installers, electrical wholesalers and developers from our North Yorkshire warehouse.
Because we hold UK stock, most orders placed before our daily cut-off are dispatched the same day, with free next working day delivery to most of mainland UK. No waiting on overseas shipping – the heater you order today can be warming your home tomorrow.

Norwegian Heating Heritage Since 1948
ADAX was founded in November 1948 in Svelvik, Norway, under the name Elektro-Mekanisk. The company’s first product was a humble kitchen mixer, but by 1958 it had launched its first portable heater – and by 1962, the wall-mounted panel heaters that would make its name.
Over more than 75 years, ADAX has grown from a small Norwegian workshop into one of Europe’s leading electric heating manufacturers. In 2008 it launched the revolutionary flat-panel Neo – winner of the Norwegian Design Council’s Award for Design Excellence that same year – which has sold over half a million units to become Scandinavia’s best-selling designer heater. In 2016, ADAX added integrated Wi-Fi to its panel heaters, bringing app control to the Neo and Clea ranges.
Today, ADAX combines that same Norwegian design philosophy – simple, stylish, built to last – with modern European manufacturing at Europe’s largest electric heater facility, recently expanded.
