Limit Mode
Intelligent Control That Prevents Energy Waste
Verda’s Limit Mode ensures your heating runs efficiently and safely. It restricts the maximum temperature that can be set, while still allowing guests limited control for comfort.

Tennents and users
In limit mode, the user can not set the target temperature above the heater’s ECO mode temperature. By default, this is set to 15 degrees. However, it can be adjusted by changing the ECO temperature in the heater’s main settings.
The user has the ability to turn the temperature up and down. However, it is impossible to set a temperature higher than the ECO limit.
To set a higher temperature, the user must use “boost”, which allows either 1 or 2 hours of higher temperature.
In boost, the heater’s temperature can be set up to 24 degrees. When the selected time expires, the heater reverts to the ECO temperature.
Base Temperature Limit
While in Limit Mode, the thermostat can only be adjusted up to the defined Eco temperature (e.g., 15.0℃).
Boost Functionality
Allows temporary temperature increase for 1–2 hours, with a maximum limit of 24.0℃.
Fixed Maximum Temperature
Restricts users setting temperature above the Eco limit or 24.0℃ boost without exiting Limit Mode.
Passcode Protection
Limit Mode is secured by a passcode, ensuring only authorised users can enable or disable it.
Exit to Reconfigure
To change the maximum temperature settings or Eco threshold, Limit Mode must first be disabled.

As limit mode is designed for public spaces and tenanted properties, it is protected against unauthorised control by a 4-digit pass code lock.
The code is required to disable limit mode and access the heater’s full controls, such as changing the ECO temperature or using the heater as normal.
