R3
One problem we’ve found with towel rail is the lack of control. The radiator would be left on constantly.
There’d be no way to control how hot the radiator was. Often so hot you could burn yourself.
Our R3 offer market leading levels of controllability. With an R3 or R4 towel radiator, you’re fully in control

Eco
As per Lot20 regulations, any towel rail used as a primary heat source must be compliant.
When used with the remote control, the R3 is fully compliant with ERP LOT20 Compliant. Designed to be as economical as possible, with features such as 24/7 timer and open window detection. The R3 is fully ERP LOT20 compliant.
Using the R3 could potentially save around £13.50 per month in electricity for a 300W rail. The payback could be as little as 6 months depending on usage.*
*Figures based on leaving a standard non-controlled 300W towel rail running continuously for 30 days using £0.125p/kw hour. R3 heater is timed for two 6 hour periods each day for 30 days

Dual Thermostat
With 2 thermostats, monitor either the air temperature or the radiator’s surface temperature.
Air Temperature
This thermostat lets you regulate the radiator based off the ambient temperature in the room.
Which is ideal if your using the radiator to heat the room, rather than drying towels.
Radiator Temperature
This thermostat lets you control how hot the surface of the radiator is. Ideal for when the radiator is used to dry towels or other items.
This isolates the radiator from the external environment, which might interfere with your towel drying.
The R3 can either be operated by the Remote control or the Buttons on the face of the element.
The remote offers easy access to the element (so you don’t have to bend down). With the remote you have full access to the elements functions.
From the face of the element, you can adjust the temperature. As well as selecting 2 or 4 hours boost mode.
Remote and Manual Control


One area of concern we commonly come across (particularly in hotels and guesthouses) if if some one touch the radiator, could they burn themselves?
Also, its common to want to prevent unausertised personnel from adjusting the radiator.
However with the R3, the radiator can let to a low, more safe, temperature. Then locked to give the security you need.
