Fancy sitting out in the garden a little longer even when the temperature dips? Or maybe you just want reliable, instant warmth in your garage or workshop? This infrared heater could be just the answer.
It uses near-infrared technology to deliver heat you can feel straight away. Rather than warming the air, it heats you and the objects around you directly, which is ideal for spaces that are tricky to insulate, like garden rooms, workshops, or covered outdoor areas.
And when it comes to appearance, there’s no need to worry about that usual harsh red glow. The low-glare front panel softens the light, so you get the same powerful heat without it being distracting, especially in the evenings when the lights are low. It’s subtle and effective.
You don’t need to stretch up high to adjust it either. The heater comes with a remote, so you can control everything from your seat. Letting you switch on/off, adjust the temperature, set a timer, and even control the motion sensor.
Speaking of control, there are three heat settings to choose from: 40%, 60%, or full power. So if things start warming up, you can dial it back to save on energy without switching it off entirely.
And here’s a clever touch: the built-in motion sensor keeps energy use in check. If the room’s empty for a couple of minutes, the heater switches off automatically. Then it powers back up when movement’s detected again. Simple, but smart.
Prefer using your phone? The built-in Wi-Fi gives you full app control. Set timers, change temperatures, even automate heating based on the weather or your location. Plus, it works with Alexa and Google Home. So yes, you can ask your heater to turn on with your voice.
The app’s the same one used for other SolAire products. If you’ve one of our smart towel rails or electric radiators, everything’s in one place.
As for setup, it’s nice and easy. The heater comes with a 1.5m cable and standard UK plug—so you can plug it in or hardwire it if you prefer. All the mounting hardware is included too—brackets, screws, the lot. Simply choose your spot, and you’re all set.
